About the Remove PDF Pages converter
The inverse of splitting: name the pages you want gone and keep everything else. Handy for dropping a fax cover sheet, a duplicated scan or the blank page a printer inserted.
The pages you keep are copied across untouched, so nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
Choosing which pages to remove
Pages are numbered from 1, the same as your PDF reader shows them. Combine single pages and ranges freely: `1-3, 7, 12-` means the first three pages, page seven, and everything from twelve to the end.
An open-ended range like `5-` runs to the last page, and `-4` runs from the first. The keywords `all`, `odd`, `even` and `last` work too, so `odd` alone gives you every odd-numbered page.
Selections are de-duplicated and sorted, so overlapping ranges are harmless.
Removing scanning artefacts
Duplex scanners often produce a blank page for every single-sided sheet, which is exactly the `even` or `odd` keyword's use case — one word removes all of them.
Frequently asked questions
What if I try to remove every page?
The conversion stops and says so. A PDF has to keep at least one page.
Is the original changed?
Never. The file on your disk is untouched; you get a new document to download.
What about password-protected PDFs?
They cannot be opened. Remove the password in your PDF reader first — this tool does not attempt to bypass or guess protection.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The document is opened, rewritten and saved entirely in your browser. That matters here more than most places, since PDFs are so often contracts, statements and medical records.
