About the Merge PDF converter
Combining PDFs is the most common thing anyone needs to do to a PDF, and almost every tool for it asks you to upload the documents first — which is an odd thing to accept for a contract or a bank statement.
This merger opens each file in your browser, copies the pages into a new document and saves it. Nothing is transmitted, so there is no queue and no size cap beyond your own memory.
Order is what you set
Files are combined top to bottom in the order shown. Add them in any order and use the arrows to rearrange — the numbered list is exactly what the finished document will contain.
You can add more files after dropping the first batch; they append to the end of the list.
What is preserved
Page content, embedded fonts, images and vector graphics all copy across intact, as does each page's size and rotation. A document mixing A4 and Letter pages keeps both.
Interactive features are not carried over: form fields, annotations, bookmarks and internal links are dropped, because they belong to the document that defined them.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
No fixed limit. Each file can be up to 100 MB, and the practical ceiling is your device's memory rather than a plan tier.
Will the merged file be smaller?
No — it is roughly the sum of its parts. Merging copies pages rather than recompressing them, which is why quality is untouched.
What about password-protected PDFs?
They cannot be opened. Remove the password in your PDF reader first — this tool does not attempt to bypass or guess protection.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The document is opened, rewritten and saved entirely in your browser. That matters here more than most places, since PDFs are so often contracts, statements and medical records.
