About the Rotate PDF converter
A page scanned the wrong way round is readable if you tilt your head, but it prints wrong and looks careless when shared. Rotating writes the correction into the document so every reader honours it.
This changes the page's rotation flag rather than re-rendering its contents, so nothing is recompressed and text stays selectable.
Rotating only the pages that need it
A scan where only some sheets went through sideways is the usual case. Name just those pages — `2, 5-7` — and the rest are left alone.
Rotation is cumulative: a page already turned 90° that you turn another 90° ends up at 180°. That way repeated corrections behave the way you would expect.
How to write a page selection
Pages are numbered from 1, the same as your PDF reader shows them. Combine single pages and ranges freely: `1-3, 7, 12-` means the first three pages, page seven, and everything from twelve to the end.
An open-ended range like `5-` runs to the last page, and `-4` runs from the first. The keywords `all`, `odd`, `even` and `last` work too, so `odd` alone gives you every odd-numbered page.
Selections are de-duplicated and sorted, so overlapping ranges are harmless.
Frequently asked questions
Will this change how the file prints?
Yes — that is the point. The rotation is stored in the document, so readers and printers both apply it.
Does rotating reduce quality?
Not at all. Only a page attribute changes; the content is not touched.
What about password-protected PDFs?
They cannot be opened. Remove the password in your PDF reader first — this tool does not attempt to bypass or guess protection.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The document is opened, rewritten and saved entirely in your browser. That matters here more than most places, since PDFs are so often contracts, statements and medical records.
